To the Community: thanks for the feedback, bug reports, and for beating me at my own game!
So… ever since I was re-indexed on Itch, the game has gotten so much more attention than I had ever anticipated. In just 3 days, my game had been downloaded almost 8 times more than it ever had been in the weeks since it was released. Thank you so much to everyone for giving the game a shot, and for the kind words and constructive criticism!
I’d like to give a moment to my fellow speedrunners out there. Already, people have started to destroy my best times in the game. Shoutouts to MaxScarf on Discord for beating 1-4 in just 15 SECONDS. I can tell you from trying to polish my best time on that level… That. Is. Nuts.

As I have stated in my upcoming article about optimizing my game for being speedrunning-accessible, speedrunning is truly the finest form of flattery for any game developer. These people dedicate legitimate hours and deep dive into the game to try to understand in detail how the game's multiple systems work just to try to beat the game as quickly as possible. It requires skill and dedication, and for that, I am very thankful that people find some sort of worth in speedrunning the game. Thank you! 🥹
I’d also like to highlight just how much feedback I’ve gotten for the game, all of which have been incredibly supportive of the game idea. People have noticed things that I didn’t even happen to see, even if it might seem obvious in hindsight. And to everyone who has given their feedback and bug reports, thank you all!
(Btw, for those who are curious, yes the elevator issue has been fixed, it turned out to be a miscommunication between the elevators movement and Unity’s physics system, and will be patched by the time Update 1.2.0 comes out next week 👍)
In summary, thank you. For those of you who have played the game and given it a chance. Whether it resonated with you or not, your support means the world to me. What started as a hobby project in my programming class has turned into something even bigger than I could’ve anticipated. And trust me when I say that there’s more where that came from, stay tuned… ;)
The article is coming soon, the update will be out next week, and Chapter 2 is on the horizon… See you then!
With love,
Victor Ahlin
