👷👍Level 2-1 is DONE!

We finally got the first level of Chapter 2 fully built! It turned out to be much bigger than we anticipated, but the results are pretty neat, and I think y’all are gonna get a kick out of playing this level.

Here are some more teasers as proof that yes, we have done something and put in some damn hard work for it XD

🏗️Minor Rework done on Chapter 1 Levels

This is how Stages 4 and 5 of Level 1-1 look now 😀

We’ve also reworked certain levels slightly to fit better with the story and/or make the levels more accessible to newer players.

For example, 1-1 is the tutorial level of the game which teaches the players how to slide, wallrun, etc. Stage 4, which teaches Wallrunning, had pretty unhelpful instructions, and you could pretty easily beat the stage without wallrunning at all. This stage has now been reworked slightly so that it should be harder to beat the stage without wallrunning.

Stage 5 now also has a platform in the middle of the spike pit to allow players to have a moment to rest and charge up their Stamina after wallrunning between the different areas of the stage.

👨‍💼✒️Becoming a Company! (kinda, it’s a lil complicated)

In preparation for launching a Steam Page for Just Keep Running, I.M.I.Self is becoming an actual company!… sort of.

The current plan is to start a Sole Proprietorship, and potentially turn it into a limited company if things go well. A Sole Proprietorship is an unincorporated business owned by one individual proprietor, meaning that the business is not a separate entity apart from the owner, which does mean that the owner is personally liable for debts and obligations of the business.

So while it is riskier, it doesn’t cost anything to establish, the owner maintains full control over the company, taxes are easier to file, and once it is time to either transition into a limited company or stop doing business, dissolving the company is pretty simple.

So, while I.M.I.Self won’t be (for now) a separate entity apart from its owner, which is me, Victor, it is still a legal business entity. Which is pretty cool. 😎
